Applicants must be US citizens of Polish descent or Polish citizens with permanent residency status in the US. There are several specific forms to fill out for the application, see the award website for details.

Description

The Tomaszkiewics-Florio Scholarship is sponsored by The Kosciuszko Foundation and provides funding for American students of Polish descent to take Polish language courses in the Foundations Summer Study Abroad programs. Students in the program will participate in a three-week program at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, although applicants may apply for longer sessions. Recipients are also required to submit a two-page report to the Kosciuszko at the completion of their program.

Note: Airfare is not included in this award.
