Description
ARIT supports and administers programs of fellowships for scholarly research and for language study in Turkey. ARIT Fellows come from all regions of North America. These fellowships cover all fields of the humanities, including prehistory, history, art, archaeology, literature, and linguistics as well as interdisciplinary aspects of cultural history for applicants who have completed their academic training. The research must be carried out in Turkey.
The fellowships may be held for terms ranging from four months to a full year.
Advanced scholars may also apply for ARIT Fellowships in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
