Description
The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) invests in promising students with financial need who wish to study abroad. Potential applicants who meet our eligibility requirements may participate on any international education program that meets their academic objectives. As an applicant for an FEA Scholarship, you are automatically considered for all available scholarships (general and dedicated) based on answers you provide on your application online.
There are multiple scholarships offered through this program including the Access Partner Scholarships. FEA’s Access Partners join in the shared commitment to increase the number of underrepresented American college students studying abroad through the provision of scholarships. These scholarships are designed to make life-changing, international experiences accessible to all by supporting minority and first-generation college students. Access Partners include third-party study abroad programs, some of which are approved by UNC.
FEA’s current Access Partners include:
- CAPA The Global Education Network
- CET Academic Programs
- DIS Study Abroad
- AIFS Study Abroad
- American University in Cairo
- FIE: Foundation for International Education
- The Institute for Study Abroad (IFSA)
- The Intern Group
- The School for Field Studies (SFS)
- SIT Study Abroad
- University of Auckland
- University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC)
